Penotu - Cine Walk

Your Steps & Your Movie Story

A step tracker with a small cinema attached. You walk, the app keeps the numbers, and when you sit down afterwards you can attach one film or series to the day you just had.

Cinema — Discover Movies & TV Shows

Rows arranged the way a walker might want them — under a hundred minutes, quiet drama for a long route, what turned up this month, series to take one episode at a time. Search any film or series by name and open one for the year, running time, genres, and a synopsis, with a trailer a single tap away. Trailers run inside YouTube's own embedded player.

Pin a Title to Your Walk

This is the part that makes the app what it is. Any film or series can be pinned to a journey and it stays there — the poster sits beneath your own words, so reopening that walk months later brings back both the distance you covered and what you were watching that week.

One title per walk, chosen by hand, and entirely optional: a journey without one is still a journey.

Your Profile

Name, photo, height, weight, and the daily step goal you want to hold yourself to. BMI is worked out as you type and labelled against the standard bands. Edit any of it whenever you like.

Today

Steps, walking distance, active energy, and exercise time, read live from Apple Health. A ring closes as the goal gets nearer, and a bar for each hour shows when the movement actually happened — the walk to work, the slow afternoon, the loop after dinner.

Journeys

A journey is one walk you decided to keep. Write down what it was like, add up to five photos from your library, and the day's measurements are saved alongside: steps against your goal, distance, energy, active time, and the hour-by-hour shape of the day. Come back later and filter for the walks where you closed the goal, or the ones carrying a title.

Stays on Your Phone

No account, no sign-in, no server of ours. Your profile, journeys, notes, photos, and pinned titles are held in the app's own storage on the device and are never uploaded anywhere. Health data is read only with your permission and never leaves the phone.

Your journeys, notes and photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.

The app reads activity from Apple Health only with your permission. Open the Settings app, go to Health › Data Access & Devices, choose the app, and turn on Steps, Walking + Running Distance, Active Energy and Exercise Minutes.

Where are my journeys kept?

Only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. There is no account and no server, so nothing is synced or uploaded. Deleting a journey removes its photos too; deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Can I watch full films in the app?

No. The app shows information about films and series and plays their trailers through YouTube's official embedded player. It does not host, download or stream full films or episodes.
